Somis Academy is a home study school for students Kindergarten to 12th grade. Headquartered  in the center of Ventura County, SACS serves students in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Kern counties.

SACS offers a private school education at public school prices. There are highly qualified teachers who oversee the work of your children. 

Is it time to bring your students home? You can feel confident that our teachers will work with you to give your students state standardized learning while you oversee the work that they do.

The family collaborates with the teacher to determine what and how the student learns.

Somis Academy is affiliated with APLUS+ a consortium of personalized learning schools in the state of California demanding Best Practices for home study/ personalized learning schools.

Somis Academy is WASC accredited assuring your student of a commitment to Best Practices.

Somis Academy has been chartered with the state of California as a public charter school through the auspices of the Somis Union School board.
